Jacob's Barn has been lovingly converted from a centuries old agricultural barn into a spacioius and luxurious house. In an elevated position, the property has extensive views over 25 miles to the Mendip Hills in the North, across the Bristol Channel to Wales and across the Somerset Levels towards Glastonbury Tor. It is set at the end of a quiet farm road about half a mile from Nether Stowey, with no passing traffic.

The south-facing french windows lead initially on to a gravelled patio with garden furniture and then up grassed terraces to a large lawn ideal for games. There is a separate hard standing area for sitting out or games.

On the ground floor there is a large country-style kitchen/diner with terracotta tiled floor and original arched window. This leads through to a dining/play room with french windows opening on to a patio and garden.

The sitting room, with open fireplace and TV/video also opens out through french windows on to the patio.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms. The master bedroom, with beamed ceiling, has its own en suite bathroom. There is a separate bathroom for other guests. Both have showers. Two bedrooms have double beds, the others have twin beds. There is a cot for babies or small children. All bedrooms have views over fields and the surrounding countryside. A fold-out sofa in the play room provides additional accommodation for two extra people
